The Camp Sagemont experiences are a special and powerful time in a child’s life; when new friendships blossom, old friends are reunited, challenges are not only faced but conquered, and the life long memories of holding a snake, laughing with a best friend, dancing in the talent show, and participating as a team in a color war battle are stored in childhood memories for a lifetime! Camp Sagemont provides children with these special and powerful camp experiences that help to shape, mold and develop campers into strong, self-confident individuals with spirited character.
The Camp Sagemont environment is FUN, SAFE, loving and possesses a strong sense of family, where campers are encouraged and developed through new and fun challenges. Campers are able to broaden their camp experience through unique camp options starting with their main camp selection to their choice of a Camp Club. Campers will select a Camp Club to participate in each week. Camp Club selections will change every three weeks.

Camp Sagemont is conveniently located in the heart of Weston and just minutes away from I-75, I-595 and the Sawgrass Expressway.
Camp Sagemont has something for every camper, starting at 3 years old with our Traditional Day Camp, Camp Sagemont also hosts a variety of specialty camps such as Sports, Travel, Art, Drama/Vocal Camp, Marine Science, Science, Creative Writing, Junior Lifeguarding, Adventure and our Leaders in Training (LIT) programs. In addition, Camp Sagemont offers an academically rich Summer School and ESL program. NEW, this summer to Camp Sagemont is Camp Clubs for our Traditional Day campers in first grade through third grade cabins. Each camper will select a Camp Club to participate in, which will take place in the afternoon. All Camp Clubs are included in the camp tuition.

Camp Sagemont’s traditional day camp is one of a kind with a variety of safe and fun-filled recreational, creative and educational activities. Campers will experience a sleep away environment in a day camp setting by being part of a cabin of girls or boys their ages, personalized and unique camping selections through Camp Clubs (campers entering 1st through 3rd grade) and of course weekly assemblies and color war! Campers are bound to have a truly memorable summer full of fun, friendships, laughter and healthy physical activity.
Camp Sagemont continues to offer its academically rich ESL program. This educational program works to assist and improve English proficiency of student’s whose first language is not English. An initial assessment will identify each student’s strengths and deficit areas in which individualized instruction is planned. Lessons will include reading and reading comprehension, writing, picture vocabulary, grammar and verbal skills, which are enhanced through dialog and acting out situations.
These daily studies will led to higher levels of English proficiency and understanding. Every Friday, progress reports will be sent home with each student to communicate the student’s achievements and areas of continued progress each week. Student’s will have ESL instruction from 9 to 12 and then have the option to join the join the rest of the campers in their age group for the remainder of the afternoon as part of the ESL/Camp Combo package.
